Tina Sembhi Singh, was born in Jalandhar, India where she spent most of her childhood and completed Bachelor of Design and Master of Fine Arts from Apeejay College of Fine Arts. She exhibited in India before moving to Singapore in 2007, where she worked as an Art Teacher in a reputed International School for 6 years. Her love to paint brought her back to the easel in 2014, when she quit teaching to follow her passion. She drives her inspiration from Indian Miniature Art. Her work is mostly figurative with a glimpse of folk style. She uses bold lines and softer hues.

She has exhibited in India, Singapore and Sweden. She has been working on the revival of Mughal Miniature.
